Prof. Klaus Lichem – Congratulations on your 90th birthday

The Department of Romance Studies is delighted to celebrate Prof. Klaus Lichem’s 90th birthday. Through his work, Prof. Lichem has had a significant influence on Italian Studies and the department as a whole, particularly in fostering a positive and constructive working atmosphere. Particular mention must be made of his commitment and pioneering spirit in transitioning the work of the Department and the Faculty to digital media in the 1990s. All of this was fittingly celebrated in numerous speeches at a joint dinner on 6 May at the Weißes Kreuz. The Department wishes the honouree continued happiness and a long life.
