NEW! Graduate with flying colours and gain start-up capital for your career on the side

Preisverleihung

The new ROMANIA PRIZE for the best Master's thesis

For the first time in this academic year 2024/25, the Department of Romance Studies is awarding a prize for the best Master's thesis: the new ROMANIA PRIZE. All students/graduates who are writing their Master's thesis in the Romance studies subjects French, Italian or Spanish can apply, regardless of which academic subject area (didactics, literature/cultural studies, linguistics) they are pursuing and which curriculum they are completing (teacher training or Master's degree programme). An outstanding Master's thesis will be honoured in the summer semester 2025. The winner can look forward to the fine prize money of 500 euros! By the way: 'professional life' or not; 500 euros more in the holiday fund in 2025 also makes a difference... but then be sure to travel to the Romansh-speaking world!!!!

Find the exact conditions of participation here; and then just write, write, write... so that you can apply with your outstanding Master's thesis by 31 March 2025! Master's theses that have already been assessed in 2024 (from April 2024) will also be considered.

And if you still need support and suggestions for your Master's thesis, don't hesitate to consult the lecturers and potential supervisors at the Department of Romance Studies.
