This year's Department of Romance Studies hike took place on 11 October 2025. A small but enthusiastic group set off in glorious autumn weather from Rein Abbey to Mühlbacher Hütte - and back again. On the way, the group not only exchanged ideas in the different languages of Romania, but also enjoyed the impressive view of the autumn landscape around Graz. At the Mühlbacher Hütte, the group enjoyed a cosy stop for refreshments at an altitude of almost 1000 m before setting off on the return journey in sunshine and good spirits.
