Under the slogan ‘Experience the diversity of languages in Graz’, the Department of Romance Studies, represented by Isabel Azevedo (Portuguese Lecturer) and Katharina Muhr (Project Assistant CLP), took part in the Graz Language Festival on 26 September with the Centro de Língua Portuguesa.
With lots of colourful balloons, many students from Styria and even from Upper Austria visited the colourful stand.
The pupils were full of enthusiasm and good humour. They actively participated in the workshops on offer (language, world studies and capoeira) and returned to school full of input.
Many inquisitive adults were motivated to take part in the quiz and learnt a lot about the diversity of the Portuguese language.
The exchange was a complete success, which was even appreciated and praised by the City Council for Education and Integration.
