Escaping classification - Adverbs and adverbial modification in the Romance world: Cross-linguistic evidence and empirical methods
Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (= BIP)
- Online phase: 4 - 15 May 2026
- Face-to-face phase: 18 - 22 May 2026 at the University of Granada
The Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme provides students with a comprehensive overview of adverbs and adverbial modification in the Romance languages (Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian). In addition to the standard languages, special emphasis is also placed on spoken varieties, non-canonical adverbs, Romance dialects, the Latin-Romance interface and Romance-based creole languages. The individual BIP courses also provide an insight into various empirical methods of linguistics (e.g. corpus linguistics, field research, questionnaires).
