From 7 to 11 April 2025, Dr Cesarina Vecchia (Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II) will be a guest at the Department of Romance Studies as part of the FWF project P37209 "The Second Way: Prepositional adverbials in primary dialects of Romance" (led by Martin Hummel). Cesarina Vecchia is a recognised expert in Italian and, more specifically, Campanian dialectology and will present her current research on her native dialect Montellese and other Irpinia dialects in a guest lecture, to which you are cordially invited. The title of the guest lecture is:
Setting the stage for the investigation of adverbs in Irpinian dialects: the linguistic features of the dialects from the Alta Valle del Calore (Province of Avellino, Italy) and their impact on adverbial modification
